Mobi The Fearsome Doctor Fang with Free EASY Reading!

This is a hard one for me to review. I LOVE LOVE Dan McDaid's artwork and most of what he's done in the past. And, art-wise, The Fearsome Doctor Fang pays off. Gorgeous.The story, tho, is incredibly cookie-cutter. I know it is billed as a "pulp" story, but it seems to have been written by someone who really had no idea what that was. It's made up of a bunch of very cookie-cutter tropes and bits pulled from other sources, and not done very well. It almost felt like the writer had looked up a few old pulp series on Wikipedia, read some plot synopses, and then copied liberally from that limited exposure.I like the pretty pictures and just kind of ignore the story.
